My boyfriend did slightly lament her leaving as she was "the only fit one in Neighbours". Which is true. She's left, as has our favourite bad actor, perhaps this could be a Neighbours/Hollyoaks crossover...hmm...
There are TWO omnibuses (omnibi???) One on Saturday on 5, one on Sunday on 5 life. Also being shown on 5 life at 7pm every evening. You're right Mangoe, 5 have handled this well, they knew the Beeb had taken Neighbours for granted so they're making the most of having something other than CSI on their schedules! __________________

As much as I admire Five's handling of the programing, Neighours is shit right now. Really is, and has been for ages. Though Adam leaving can only be a good thing- the pain of watching his "acting" everyday was getting a bit hard to take...

Yeah, it's been neglected for a long time. I think they've tried to make it more like Home and Away, but not got there. I don't know why they couldn't stick to the format which was working. Neighbours has had pretty steady viewing figures for a long time so it's not like they were pushed in to "sexing it up" or anything (although I'd beg to differ on whether that's been achieved...)
Everything about Adam was implausible. I've never known someone who is English have such a terrible English accent. Even his walk is implausible! __________________

and neighbours still sucks infact tv sucks but i have found myself watching eastenders some nights but more than this....actually thinking i would like to know what happens tomorrow. Should i be worried. It is a refelction on my shockingly boring life right now.

There's a new guy in Neighbours who is rather hot...first time in my memory there has been such an occurrance. I believe he may be intended to be of Scottish extraction having the name "Angus Henderson" which sounds ridiculous in an Australian accent. I'm liking Neighbours on 5 more as I get used to it, the ad break is seeming more like a convenience now, to grab a cup of tea (lunchtime) drain and serve pasta (teatime). Never thought I'd say it...

I agree- the ad break is probably the only one which doesn't piss me off in programmes. Long live Neighbours!
That said, Steph and Rachel are fast reaching the top of my 'most hated' list. Elle and Riley too, but they're both so bland they're easily ignored. It's not that I don't like you, it's just that I'm unkind

I have been very lacking in my dedication to Neighbours. I have shocked myself. I don't want to say I've outgrown it or I don't need it any more.
It feels like a bad break up. Maybe we're just drifting apart...
Rachel is intensely annoying, especially as her sole reasons for being on the show are to fall in love with the wrong guy (yawn) and be jailbait. Bridget is definitely top of my most hated list, for her bird like twitchy head and the cheap way Neighbours have made her look disabled (by giving her a very tall walking stick). Surely there's enough budget to do something a little more sophisticated. Plus she broke that man's heart, and he's in a wheelchair. That's pathos for you. Still rather liking Angus, in spite of his - albeit unintentional - paedophilic behaviour. I'm not sure if this is simply because the male stock in Neighbours has been so poor for so long.
