Yeah, the show was good, Colin looked to be trying to enjoy himself, despite the dire crowd. Probably too much new material; I'm getting the impression
that he wants to leave the Mull days behind, I'm not sure this is a great idea.
I fear for where he's gonna take this to be honest - I mainly went to this as I had a feeling it may be my last chance to see him live, sadly nothing about last night has changed my mind. The support acts were simply awful. |

I really enjoyed the Borderline show last night.Much better than the last one there.
Was nice to hear Supermarket Strikes Back, but agree with chrissfa that a bit more of the older stuff would have been nice  )
I quite liked the final support act ... The Asteroid Galaxy Tour (I think?)...they had some good songs. |

The Ripon gig on Monday was electrifiying. In spite of poor audience numbers, and some technical cock ups, the performance came from a man at the top of his
game. Great stuff.

I though it was a good balance of old and new but then I have lived with The Water for a long time and think its his best so maybe I'm not the best judge.

There's a link to my review of last night at The Borderline; I loved it, and Colin looked like he was having a great time. Stalker went down really really well; there was a surge to the front. I'm also adding lots of photos to the Facebook group if anyone's joined. I'll post up here if you can't see them; I was right in front of the man himself. |
