Opinions please . . . . . I'm looking to move the forum to an ad-free environment hosted directly on colinmacintyre.com, rather than through a third-party
like yuku. The new forum would offer all the features of this and previous boards. The drawback is the forum would start afresh, there would be no importing of
posts or users. The current yuku forum could remain as an locked archive but everyone wold have to register again. On the one had that's a bit of a pain in
the arse but then again, numbers a low at the moment and some dead wood can be cleared out. I'm not expecting a massive response, but does anyone have any
big objection to this?

I don't see any problem in moving to a new forum. A spring (or rather, late-summer) clean may be what's required. Basically anything to get rid of the
adverts....
